Established as a subsidiary of its parent company, Sungshin in 1998, Comtech focuses its activities on polymer foam raw material, precision chemicals and raw materials based on nanotechnology.

Its main office, technical research center and factory are based out of Gimhae with some 62 employees.

Comtech hopes to apply the technology of nanotechnology-based advanced new materials to become a leading company in this area.

Some of its leading products are based on functional raw material’s general features, such as EVA material form, closed cell based on emission form and other features based on outstanding life-long compressor, internal abrasion, and key applications like functional in-sole, and various sandals.

Another product is the GENIA soft foam which is characterized by general features of foam based on silicone and PVC, and other features based on outstanding softness density, functionality and texture with application for mats, advanced shoes, gloves. Other products are based on functional nanocomposites featuring products like pillows for health, healthcare or medical products, or medical shoes.
