Wando in Jeonnam alone produces more than 80% of the total abalone produced in Korea. Famous for its clarity, the Wando Island is surrounded by almost perfect natural sea environment, and the area is made of mineral stone layers, commonly referred to as a mine of well-being seafood.

WandoAbalone Co., Ltd. is an abalone distributing company that was formed by abalone producers in Wando in corporation with central government and Wando County to provide customers more fresh abalones safely. Abalones from Wando Island are only fed with kelp and seaweed, making it very nutritious and healthy.

Wando Island is located in the southernmost part of Korean peninsula along the South Sea and the abalone producers in Wando are benefited by its crystal clear surrounding sea environment.
