The 32nd edition of the Korea World Travel Fair 2017 will be held from June 1 to 4 at the COEX, Seoul. Covering inbound, outbound, and domestic travel, KOTFA 2017 will attract suppliers and general consumers in the tourism industry, related organizations, and academia, while serving as a marketplace for information exchange, networking, and business consultation, as well as selling products.
Hall A, located on the first floor, is composed of tourist information booths that provide the latest travel information on tourist attractions in 70 countries as well as Korea. In Hall B, in particular, there will be a variety of experience centers such as “Asian Food Festival Pavilion” where 10 member countries will participate in the commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of ASEAN, under the theme of “Spas of the World,” where visitors will be able to experience and compare the famous hot springs in Japan, Taiwan, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Turkey, etc. The “VR Tour Center” will be operated jointly by the Korean VR Industry Association (KoVRA), Macao, Mexico, and Guam, etc., and the “Pyeongchang Winter Olympic Experience Center” will offer visitors the opportunity to explore the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics with new experiences, spaces of imagination, and a complex travel culture space to plan one’s own journey. In the future, the Organizing Committee will continue to expand the participation of tourism related departments such as culture, arts, leisure, sports, education, medical care, farming and fishing villages, environment, welfare and society, in addition to the experiences in Hall B, it will contribute to the Fair’s expansion.
