Using only 100% vegetable ingredients such as Chinese cabbage, radish, garlic, ginger, green onion, and red pepper, it has a clean and refreshing taste. This product is not necessarily for strict vegetarians and has a shelf life of 180 days. It is currently exported to the UK, Switzerland, France, and Belgium.
PULMUONE Frozen Tteokbokki features chewy rice as if served right out of the kitchen. After steaming the rice cake dough at 130degrees C, the steamed rice cake dough is kneaded by the double kneading process that has the same effect as kneading the dough with a traditional rice cake mallet, which makes the rice cake more chewy and soft.
Immediately after the rice cake is kneaded it is quick-frozen in a 26-meter-long freezing tunnel to prevent cracking when cooking the rice cake and maintain the freshness of the newly made rice cake. In this way, the rice cake stays wonderfully moist, so it can be cooked right away without defrosting.
It comes with a specially made gourmet tteokbokki sauce that goes well with the rice cake that has a chewy texture.
Its recipe is simple. The tteokbokki can be prepared simply by adding the frozen rice cake without defrosting and the sauce to water and boiling it for 5 to 5.5 minutes. The consumers can add various toppings, such as fries and vegetables, in addition to the fish cake that comes with the rice cake to make a snack that goes well with drinks or can be enjoyed just by itself.
