Slated to be held from April 22 to 24 at EXCO in Daegu, the 2015 Optical Show Daegu International Optical Show is the largest and only optical show in Korea. Daegu, where Korea’s first optical industry was born 70 years ago, is home to the country’s leading optical companies. Over 500 manufacturers out of a total of 700 optical companies in Korea are located In Daegu, which is why DIOPS is held in Daegu every year, drawing numerous buyers and visitors to the show. This year’s show will be attended by approximately 222 companies displaying 1,000 brands and drawing 30,000 visitors, including 1,500 international buyers from over 30 countries, in a venue covering 20,077 square meters.
DIOPS has provided a business platform for Korea’s optical industry representing 700 optical companies and 9,000 retailers. Co-organized by the Korea Optical Industry Support Center and Korea Optometric Association, DIOPS provides various programs. First of all, the organizers prepare 1:1 buyer matching programs customized for each exhibitor. In addition, during the show there will be various unique events such as Optic & Traditional culture fashion show, Academic program for Optometry, Continuing education and International Conference, etc.
It will be a great opportunity to discover new trends and enhance networking by grasping trends of technology and global markets in the optical industry.
