Fortis, established in September 2006 as a venture company, it is a major player in this field by introducing its first hit product in 2007, an advanced digital STB with USB PVR (Person Video Recorder) function, an unique product in this field.

Through work, which is always one step ahead of another, Fortis is delivering various new products to the customers in a time-to-market frame.

It has received awards as a technical venture firm, best patent practicing firm and a venture firm with outstanding implementation from the Prime Minister’s office.

Among the mediums for digital STB for digital broadcasting, it delivers it in satellite broadcasting, cable, terrestrial and HD/PVR format. For multi-functional STB allowing various IP/NW features by Ethernet connection, it supplies it in hybrid STB, Internet/OTT and user application format.

This all can be summarized as “High-end Smart Hybrid”. Another first is the innovative solution of time-shifting by silicon memory. To complement Fortis’s technology, it has signed collaborative agreement with 12 firms including Dolby and MP3.
