Handmade Korea Fair 2014

Handmade Korea Fair is a cultural festival for artists and the public, which has been held at COEX, Seoul since 2011 based on concept of “real open art fair.” The fair has unlimited boundaries,
allowing anyone who is engaged in creating and designing something by hand to participate.

Handmade Korea Fair 2014 is scheduled to run for four days from July 10 to 13 in COEX in Seoul. Marking the 4th edition this year, the fair will be attended by about 400 companies and artists in
500 booths from 15 countries where about 10,000 ~ 20,000 artworks will be displayed with a bigger scale than previous shows.

One of the most important goals of this year’s event is to provide various kinds of support for participating artists so that they can make successful inroads into commercial and distribution markets.

In addition, the fair also encourages exchanges with overseas artists so that Korean artists can open up whole new vistas and find new markets for themselves. Thus, about 70 foreign artists from 15
countries, including Japan and China have been invited to present their works at the upcoming event.
