[INQ. NO. 1412C15] MeltSTA products are bio-based hot melt adhesives, produced using Daesang’s proprietary thermochemical process technology on the basis of development knowhow for starch-based materials during the past half century.
As drop-in replacement for most petroleum based hot melt adhesives, they are solvent-free hot melt adhesive with over 20% bio-based content by ASTM D-6866 and suitable for general case/carton sealing and wood edge-banding.
Especially, MeltSTA for packaging has lower processing temperatures (under 140°C or 284°F) than conventional hot melt adhesives, and provides more safe work environment and less wear on equipment.
