Korean Food Products Aiming to Go Global

Kimchi, Bulgogi and Bibimbap often immediately come to mind when most foreigners think of Korean foods. However, a variety of Korean foods and cuisine are now attracting keen attention among foreigners as the Korean Wave of pop culture’s enduring popularity among consumers in mainly Asian countries still raise Korea’s global status.
From processed red ginseng, one of the most famous Korean export items, to roasted & seasoned laver and a variety of convenience foods such as instant noodles, Korean style pancake and spicy tteokbokki are appealing to the palates of people around the world with their unique flavors and appealing tastes.
For Korea’s food exporters seeking new export markets in Russia and the CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States), WorldFood Moscow 2016, which attracts more than 1,500 exhibitors in the region, is considered to be one of the most significant business platforms to showcase their products to local buyers and consumers.
WorldFood Moscow 2016 will take place on September 12-15 at the Expocentre of Moscow, the political, economic and cultural hub of Russia.
At the upcoming food expo, dozens of Korean companies will showcase their premier food items such as Korean ginseng, citron tea, paprika, dried persimmon, seasoned laver as well as convenience foods and a variety of sauces and spices representing its freshness, taste, and well-known health benefits of Korean foods, at the Korean pavilion at WorldFood Moscow 2016.
