Nail Patch for Athlete’s Foot
[INQ. NO. 2209C26] Kerasel is a nail patch for the treatment of athlete’s foot (onychomycosis). Developed for the first time in the world, it is a hydrogel product for natural healing by containing no pharmaceutical ingredients.
It is safe to use as it has no toxic side effects, unlike existing products that are either administrated orally or applied to the nails. It maximizes hydration, and consumers do not need to be concerned about cross-contamination and hygiene as Kerasel is wrapped around the fingernails and toenails like patches.
Compared with Kerasal Nail for topical treatment, the efficacy of the hydrogel patch (Nail AF) in patients with distal onychomycosis turned out to be faster and more pronounced.
After four months of treatment, about 83.3% were negative in the hydrogel patch (Nail AF) treatment group, and 41.7% were negative in the kerasal nail treatment group, indicating that the effect is more than twice as good in clinical trials. No recurrence was observed months after the end of treatment.
