Bedsore Prevention Robot
[INQ. NO. 2508C13] Nine Bed is an innovative medical device developed by Ninebell Healthcare to effectively prevent bedsores in patients. Unlike conventional products that use air cells, this robot contains pressure sensors embedded in keyboard-like components that measure patient body pressure data. The artificial intelligence system automatically determines whether pressure exceeds the critical bedsore threshold (4.27 kPa) and operates individual keys to create level differences, thereby preventing bedsores.
The bedsore prevention robot has received medical device certification from Korea’s Ministry of Food and Drug Safety. The product features several key functions including pressure distribution, alternating flotation (time-controlled), patient position movement (left and right), fall prevention alerts, massage capabilities, and adjustable backrest and leg plate angles and height settings. These functions help prevent bedsores while reducing the physical fatigue of caregivers.

Any Bed is a complementary product designed for installation on existing beds in hospitals, nursing homes, and home environments. This system applies the angle adjustment functions for backrest and leg plates to an alternating flotation mattress, enhancing patient comfort. It incorporates the same bedsore prevention technology as Nine Bed, specializing in protecting patients from pressure ulcers while working with standard bed frames.
