Malaysia’s Premier Beauty Trade Show Returns with Sustainability Focus
Malaysia’s beauty industry is set to witness its most significant gathering of the year as Cosmobeauté Malaysia 2025 prepares to open its doors from September 30 to October 3, 2025. This milestone event marks the 20th edition of Cosmobeauté and the 23rd edition of beautyexpo, cementing its position as the nation’s largest and longest-running professional beauty trade exhibition.
The four-day showcase will transform the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre into a bustling hub of innovation, bringing together over 15,000 expected visitors from more than 60 countries and regions. Beauty professionals, salon owners, distributors, and buyers will converge at Halls 1-5 to explore cutting-edge trends and forge meaningful business connections across the global beauty landscape.
This year’s exhibition promises exceptional scale and diversity, featuring over 400 exhibitors from nine countries including Malaysia, China, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Pakistan, Taiwan, Thailand, and the United Arab Emirates. The event will showcase eight specialized sectors ranging from Professional Beauty and Hair & Barber to Makeup & Cosmetics, Nail services, and the increasingly important Halal Beauty segment.
“Advancing Sustainability” serves as the central theme for 2025, reflecting the industry’s growing commitment to eco-friendly practices and ethical manufacturing. The expanded Halal Beauty pavilion will emphasize ingredient transparency and cross-border opportunities, positioning Malaysia as a leader in certified halal beauty products. International pavilions from China, Korea, Singapore, and Taiwan will present disruptive brands and cutting-edge technology that’s reshaping the beauty landscape.
Organized by Informa Markets and powered by Cosmoprof Asia, the event benefits from strong institutional support including MATRADE endorsement and recognition as a UFI Approved International Event. The organizing committee, led by Chairman Tan Sri Abdul Rahman Mamat, has assembled comprehensive programming that includes the Bloom & Groom Skin Management Competition 2025 and the 5th Malaysia Glory Cup International Beauty Competition.
Educational seminars led by global beauty experts will provide insights into emerging trends and business development strategies, while the VIP Buyer Programme offers exclusive networking opportunities and matchmaking services for qualified participants. The event also features a digital showroom for virtual exploration and various trade facilitation services.
Entry remains free for pre-registered trade visitors and invited guests, with a modest RM20 fee for on-site registration, ensuring accessibility for beauty professionals seeking to advance their businesses through sustainable innovation and international collaboration.
