Premium Push-Pull Handle
[INQ. NO. 2609C13] Milda M1 replaces the gripping and twisting motion of round knobs and lever handles with a convenient push-pull action requiring less than 30 N of force. Its barrier-free operation is intended for users with limited strength in the hands or wrists.
To facilitate a swift escape, the anti-panic function releases the lock within one second through intuitive operation of the inside handle, ensuring a quick exit even when the door is locked. This mechanism helps people with limited cognitive function exit more quickly during a fire or another emergency.
The handle can be installed pointing upward, horizontally, or downward, and its pushing or pulling direction can be changed. Global-standard dimensions and a do-it-yourself replacement structure make installation practical in both new and existing doors.
Use and compatibility were tested through global crowdfunding with consumers in 19 countries. The handle is designed for homes, nurseries, senior centers, welfare halls, sports facilities, laboratories, factories, and other buildings serving varied users.
M1 has received NEP, innovative-product, technology-trial-purchase, new-product-conformity, senior-friendly innovation, and Korean Good Design recognition, along with an iF Design Award. Work on accessibility also received ministerial, WIPO, and IFIA honors.
Slim Push-Pull Handle
Milda M2 places the push-pull mechanism in a slimmer pin-type design. An additional handle cover can be fitted to the product, combining universal-design considerations with a format intended to address users’ visual and tactile preferences.
Consumers in 21 countries installed and used M2 through global crowdfunding, providing practical experience with do-it-yourself replacement. The model extends the same accessible push-pull concept into a narrower design suited to a different interior profile.
