Light-Based Oral Care Brush
[INQ. NO. 2610C12] iBright combines multiple light wavelengths with brushing movements for oral treatment, oral regeneration and tooth whitening. Multiple patents registered in Korea, the United States and Japan support its approach, and Bristl is the export brand for the product.
The light system includes 635 nm illumination, corresponding to the He-Ne laser wavelength, for an anti-inflammatory effect and 400 nm illumination to kill and inhibit the growth of bacteria associated with gum disease. These functions complement the device’s mechanical cleaning action.
Two-stage, dual micro-bristle layers move vertically, while the bristle tips perform a conical motion. The movement is designed to clean the many gaps and curves on tooth surfaces, the spaces between teeth and gums, and the gums themselves.
This combination of up-and-down movement and motion at the bristle tips helps remove bacteria and bacterial films. Rather than relying on conventional vibration alone, the brush uses its two-layer bristle arrangement for dynamic contact during cleaning.
USB-C charging removes the need for a bulky charging stand. Each replacement brush head weighs only one gram, reducing the amount of plastic in the replaceable component, while the very lightweight device is intended to limit wrist strain.

A patented design minimizes electromagnetic-wave generation during use. Together with the compact charging arrangement and light replacement heads, this design addresses practical aspects of using an oral-care device as part of a regular daily brushing and oral-care routine.

iBright, established in 2012, specializes in medical devices. Its iBright brand completed clinical research in 2014 on periodontal-health improvement in chronic periodontal disease and harmful oral bacteria, with findings presented to a periodontal scientific society following the completed clinical research.
The business has obtained approvals relating to medical-device performance and quality and established direct production. Domestic sales channels include department-store online malls, GS Home Shopping and dental distribution through a major Korean dental distributor.
Overseas sales include Amazon, extending the brand’s domestic distribution activity to international customers. In 2026, iBright received a Korean consumer award selected by Forbes, adding recognition to its record in light-based oral treatment and tooth whitening.
