In 1973, with the WD-40 product (a multi-purpose, anti-rust lubricant) we took our first step towards becoming a specialist in the development of metal working fluids.
Since then, we have continued to develop a variety of metal working fluids essential for the steel, automobile and mechanical manufacturing industries such as rolling oil, cutting oil, anti-rust oil, and many more, thereby contributing to the enhancement of our customer’s competitiveness and industry growth.
With the establishment of BUHMWOO CHEMICAL-KUNSHAN in 2001 (Kunshan, China), we gained a foothold to begin our advance into the global market. Subsequently, we have grown to become a leading global competitor in the area of metal working fluids by establishing other overseas corporations in the U.S., Mexico, India, Indonesia, and Vietnam.
In 2002, through BIT, the R&D Institute of Buhmwoo became an independent corporation to create even innovative technology, and we current commit over 7% of our total gross sales back to invest each year.
This consistent monetary effort has yielded dramatic results up to and including exporting our own technologies to 14 countries around the world.
Today, we look forward to continue directing our efforts towards the future and new possibilities.

Fruit and Vegetable Wash
vegeAQUA is a new-concept fruit and vegetable wash, unlike any conventional cleaners. Other products available in the market contain chemicals with artificial odors and create foams caused by surfactants, whereas vegeAQUA contains only ionized water (99.7%) and minerals (0.3%) with no artificial taste or flavor added.
It is currently available in the USA, Indonesia, and in almost all department stores in South Korea.
Electronic Contact Cleaner
BW-100 ECC is used for cleaning sensitive electronics and electrical equipment quickly and easily — removing oil, grease, dust, and other contaminants on contact, without leaving any residue — and improves conductivity by cleaning off impurities.
Manufactured with the 4th-generation halogenated solvent HFO-1233zd as the main ingredient, it is a zero ODP solvent with extremely low global warming potential.
It is also non-flammable. It is an easy and efficient cleaning solution for any electronic appliance.
