September 3, 2013 1997, Hallasan Green Pork has obtained various government certifications related to management innovation, as a promising medium-sized company and venture firm that has become a leading local livestock company.

It also has obtained the “J Mark” representing sanitary products, with two patents pending and some 16 awards.

Among Hallasan’s products are pork cuts from the Black Pig, which is high in nutrition and protein values. The company boasts eight cuts of such pork which are indigenous to Jeju Island. These various cuts are used for foods like roasting, and boiling, pork cutlet and stew. Another group of favorite cuts are from Jeju beef. Here some nine kinds of cuts are showcased including sirloin, tenderloin and ribs.

Although beef is imported from countries worldwide, due to various factors, local beef is most popular among the locals.

Another favorite group of cuts is Horsemeat. It compares favorably in terms of calories, glycogen and vitamins with beef and pork. Horsemeat Oil has also been tested effective for human skin ailments.
