Established in 1978, Halla went through many ups and downs to reach its present position of becoming a leading automotive parts manufacturer in Korea. From its initial plant in Gimhae to its new main office and another plant in Yangsan, it is now poised for its 2nd-stage growth. It had its first opportunity in 1979 when it was designated as a primary cooperative company for Hyundai Motors and in 1982 a registered cooperative company for LG Chem. In 2002, it was certified for the KSA 9002, ISO9002 and QS 9000 quality assurance standards as well as many patents. To support all the above functions, it established its technical R&D center.
Some of its leading parts are the clip, bracket, cover, bolt and nut, bush and pipe and others. This has enabled Halla to be designated as a promising small and medium-sized parts company. Some specific description for the above parts, in particular, the clip parts which protect cable and wires used inside a car and fix them to the vehicle frame, and for the bracket parts which is a components for a cooling system to prevent vibration and impact from being transferred in a car for absorbing them and others. In addition, Halla also manufacturers test/measurement equipment.
