The Seoul International Sports & Leisure Industry Show (SPOEX) began its first show in 2001 at COEX, located in the center of Seoul. Since the first show, the number of participants has grown continuously. In 2013, the 13th SPOEX attracted 428 exhibitors at 1,615 booths from all over the world including Korea, China, Japan, other Asian countries, North America and Europe.
SPOEX has dedicated to the rapid growth of Korean sports and leisure business. The SPOEX 2014 will be held for four days from Feb. 20 to 23, 2014 in COEX in Seoul, holding the Outdoor Show, Camping Show, Bike Show and KUSPO Show under one roof during the show period. About 450 companies will feature their latest items at 1,800 Booths (28,726m2).
SPOEX is an outstanding show that every year attracts more than 40,000 people working in the Korean sports and leisure industry. SPOEX is approved by UFI in 2005 and also proved by the Ministry of Knowledge Economy as a Korea’s promising international show. SPOEX organizers are engaged in aggressive PR activities for exhibitors through various channels, including major broadcasting, radio, daily newspaper and professional media.
They also provide an efficient business environment for the participating companies by holding numerous events such as Seoul International Sports Industry Forum, Seminars on various subjects, Climbing Festival, Demonstration of displayed products. The increasing number of participants proves that SPOEX is the representative exhibition of sports & leisure industry in Korea. Responding to the growing interests, SPOEX is expanding its scale and arranging various sports events for exhibitors and visitors.
