Embracing Healthy Aging and Happiness in a Super-Aged Society
The 2024 Reha•Homecare exhibition, held from June 4th to 6th at COEX in Seoul, was a resounding success, showcasing innovative solutions for health and happiness in our increasingly super-aged society. Jointly organized by the Korea Federation of Organizations of the Disabled (KFPD), the Korea Medical Devices Distribution Association (KMDIA), and WeExpo, the event brilliantly lived up to its theme of “Healthy Life, Happy Life!”
As we navigate the challenges of a super-aged era, this year’s exhibition introduced inspiring new paradigms of “healthy aging” aimed at enhancing health, reducing inconveniences caused by aging and disabilities, and increasing life satisfaction. Attendees were treated to a broad spectrum of top-notch rehabilitation and welfare equipment, homecare products, and content from both domestic and international exhibitors.
The event featured a variety of engaging programs, including one-on-one business meetings, professional seminars, and tailored tours. The business meetings provided an invaluable platform for participating companies to expand their domestic and international markets, facilitating fruitful consultations with distributors, buyers, and experts.
Professional seminars were a highlight, presenting the latest industry trends and insights which are vital for enhancing the efficiency of facility operations and providing educational opportunities for those in the rehabilitation and welfare sectors.
Building on the success of the previous year, the 2024 exhibition attracted a diverse audience, including manufacturers, service providers, distributors, social workers, caregivers, general visitors, physical and occupational therapists, researchers, academics, students, and facility operators. Popular areas of interest this year included home medical devices, bio-healthcare, rehabilitation medicine, physical therapy, assistive devices for the disabled, and mobility and walking-related devices.
