A New Wave of Opportunity at One of East Asia’s Top Gift and Home Goods Exhibitions
The Shanghai International Gifts, Cultural and Creative Products, and Home Goods Exhibition, commonly known as the Huali Exhibition or CHN GIFT EXPO, is set to return for its 27th edition on June 26–28, 2026, at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre.
Organized by Shanghai Yahui Exhibition Co., Ltd., the event has established itself as one of the most prominent gift and home goods trade platforms in East China, drawing over 300,000 professional buyers annually. Attendees range from agents, distributors, and wholesalers to department stores, corporate purchasers, and international buyers, all converging during one of the year’s golden procurement seasons.
The exhibition spans tens of thousands of square meters and brings together suppliers and manufacturers across a wide array of categories. Visitors can expect to find brand gifts, kitchenware, daily necessities, home textiles, home decorations, small appliances, travel goods, digital products, eco-friendly shopping bags, and China-chic cultural and creative products.
The event also features lifestyle and leisure categories such as ceramics, sports and outdoor gear, beauty products, bags and leather goods, and fashion accessories. A strong emphasis is placed on original design and creative innovation, with the expo positioning itself as a platform that protects intellectual property while showcasing trending brands with distinctive artistic concepts.
The event’s focus on home goods and consumer products arrives at a time of notable shifts in global trade patterns. South Korea, a major player in household goods, exported $42.7 billion worth of consumer goods in 2024, with the government setting an ambitious target of $70 billion in annual consumer goods exports by 2030.
From January to September 2025, Korean consumer goods exports rose 6.6 percent year on year, reaching record levels. Industry leaders have described this growth as a structural shift rather than a temporary trend, attributing it to growing global trust in Korean product quality, fueled in part by the worldwide popularity of Korean culture.
Meanwhile, the South Korean household appliances market was valued at approximately $8.93 billion in 2024 and is projected to grow at a compound annual rate of 5.9 percent through 2030, driven by rising disposable incomes and consumer demand for smart, energy-efficient products.
These trends suggest that international sourcing events like the Huali Exhibition will remain vital gathering points where global procurement professionals can discover emerging brands and products from across the Asia-Pacific region.
