Along with advancements in medical technology, the world’s population is aging.
In particular, Korea’s aging rate is growing the fastest among OECD member countries, and it is expected that it will enter a super-aged society in 2025, with more than 20% of the population classed as elderly.
Accordingly, the Korean government is working hard to establish an advanced society equipped with an elderly healthcare and welfare system.
