Emodin and short-chain fatty acids are core patented technologies of the Central Microbial Research Institute, and the substance called ‘Emodine’ was studied twice in 2016 and 2020 through an R&D support project of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs. As a result, it established a mechanism using emodin extracted from natural aloe and Hojang root, and patents have been obtained for efficacy evaluation and manufacturing methods.
